Two recitals of compositions by Maestro Robert W. Butts of the Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey will be presented in Italy, Dec 27 in Venice, and Dec 28 in Padua. The concerts will open with pianist Paul Zeigler and tenor Kevin Peters performing Three Browning Songs. The concert will close with a set of songs from La Serva di Padova, with soprano Dominika Zamara joining pianist Zeigler and tenor Peters. Book and lyrics for La Serva di Padova are by Vincenzo Faggiano. Also featured in the concert will be flutist Laura Ferraro, oboist Nancy Vanderslice, and bassoonist Andrew Pecota performing Five Course Dinner for Three. The Dec 28 concert will include a performance by violinist and Concert Master of the BONJ, Agnes Kwasnieswska, with Paul Zeigler accompanying.

Paul Zeigler, internationally acclaimed pianist/composer and one of New Jersey's most beloved artists, returns to Madison to perform Beethoven's magnificent Piano Concerto #3. Renowned for his performances of all Beethoven's sonatas and concertos, Paul is also noted for his own two exciting piano concertos as well as numerous compositions for voice and piano. With BONJ, Paul has played all 5 Beethoven concertos in the past, as well as concert works by Chopin, Brahms, and Gershwin.
